Welcome to the first episode of the Reading and Writing Podcast.  We start with a series of three interviews with author, blogger, copy editor/writer, and compositionist Marion Haliday. Marion has throughout her career used the skill of writing in many different roles and has recently published a children’s fantasy book “Hammie and the Moken’s Magic Potion”, hammiebooks.com co-authored with Peter Styne.  Marion discusses her writing over the years from school, working in the corporate space, blog writing, publishing a travel book, and two children’s fantasy books. In this first interview, we discuss her latest book and its journey to publication.
