It is time for this year’s Dr Who watch and the culters are up to the seventh and last Doctor of the original series, played by Sylvester McCoy. The episodes of Ghost Light were in fact the last recorded by the BBC before the big break and the last to be recorded at the London studios though not the last story to be screened.
Ghost Light was the 153rd story. It was first broadcast 14th – 18th October 1989 on BBC 1, UK. It was written by Marc Platt, directed by Alan Wareing and Produced by John Nathan-Turner. The story stars Sylvester McCoy as the Doctor and Sophie Aldred as Ace.
