The Gawler Jazz Festival 2016 was officially launched last Friday 4th November with a gala event at the Gawler & Barossa Jockey Club.

The 2016 Festival was officially opened by TV personality and former Roseworthy College Student Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello while guests were serenaded by the music of Cheeky jazz and smokey blues band, Jazz in Cheek.

The GBA sent our roving reporters, GBA Programme Manager Janette Menhennet and host of the ‘Gawler Identities’ podcast Marilyn Simpson, down to the event to have a chat with the organisers, and to find out why Cosi only feels comfortable when he’s north of North Tce.
