150 years ago the Bunyip reported on the tragic death of Mrs Popham, 100 years ago a disastrous fire in Adelaide made news state-wide, 50 years ago Gawler was struck by a freak storm, 25 years ago hopes were fading for Gawler’s iconic Christmas tree, and 10 years ago the proposed Gawler East Link road was generating controversy.
