Welcome to our monthly writing podcast with Carolyn, Marilyn and Janette. This topic of this month’s podcast was “memorable first lines” and Marilyn came prepared with a quiz to test Carolyn and Janette’s literary knowledge. Carolyn cited some of the great first lines deployed by Banjo Patterson in his famous ballads and Janette read a few more memorable first lines from some of her favourite novels.
