The discussion was about film and tv adaptations of novels. Carolyn expressed her disappointment with the Dune adaptation, Janette enthused about the Peter Weir film Picnic at Hanging Rock and Marilyn talked about various Agatha Christie adaptations while pondering the means of adapting books to films.
