Welcome to another Oral History Podcast featuring Barbara Mullan, who was a leading light of the Gawler Quilting Circle.
From childhood Barbara Mullan has been fascinated by textiles. She has spent her creative life designing and producing beautiful works of art, using patchwork, hand quilting and painting. Her desire to introduce and enthuse others has led her to become a much-loved educator for many people across Australia. Her influences are based on her world travels, learning from ethnic people, using traditional techniques. Recently she was awarded the OAM for her services to art.
