Piccolo's Political Portraits
Today’s SALA 2016 Gawler Art Trail gallery is the exhibition of political portraits hosted by local State MP Tony Piccolo at his electorate office.
Officially opened on Sunday 31st July by Gawler Artist and Cartoonist George Aldridge, the exhibition celebrates the local personalities that have contributed to local politics since the Light Electorate was first created in 1857.
The SALA 2016 Gawler Art Trail is sponsored by the Gawler Business Development Group and supported by local businesses, community groups and artists. This year’s Trail features 11 exhibitions displaying the works of a host of local artists, including Barbara Palmer, Scott Rathman, Sharon Sinclair and Judy Ferguson to name just a few.
