It’s Halloween and the Culters are getting into the mood with some Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episodes while eating spooky bat biscuits. Lisa and Baylor have both picked out episodes, a “classic” from the early days of the series and a more recent episodes which leads to a discussion on how the longest running animated series on U.S. television has changed and if it still holds up.
The Simpsons first aired in 1989 and it is still going, over 700 episodes later. That is a lot of doughnuts.. Created by Matt Groening for Fox Broadcasting Company and debut on 17th December 1989 in the U.S. The Treehouse of Horror is a series of special annual horror themed anthology episodes.
The series stars Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson, Julie Cavner as Marge Simpson, Nancy Cartwright as Bart and Maggie Simpson and Yeardley Smith as Lisa Simpson.
Episode 2.i first aired on 25-10-1990 and Episode 22.xxi first aired on 7-11-2010
