Spring to Life, Gem Congdon and From the Attic Joanne Hughes.
Judy Gillet-Fergusson talks about the current exhibition at the Gallery which features the work of Joanne Hughes and Gem Congdon, two remarkably talented textile artists.
Gem and Joanne both started their studies with Julia Mannix in 2000 at Para West Adult Campus and although both moved away into different areas of endeavour, still liked to include lots of stitching and dye-ing in their textile pieces.
