150 years ago the Lady Alice Gold Reef is causing “great excitement” in Gawler, 100 years ago a poignant Anzac Service was held, 50 years ago Gawler businesses enjoyed an Easter bonanza, 25 years ago Cabinet approved the PAR, and 10 years ago Sir Tony Robinson (of Blackadder and Time Team fame) was visiting the region.
