150 years ago clothes thieves are upsetting the residents of Basset Town, 100 years ago a strike in a local foundry is making news, 50 years ago the Gawler Caravan Park is being developed , 25 years ago the district receives “glorious rain”, and ten years ago a local film maker is recognised.
