Looking Back with the Bunyip: Wednesday 12th July
Looking back at Gawler’s history through the columns of the Bunyip Newspaper with Janette and special guest Gawler Councillor and historian, Helen Hennessy from Wednesday 12th July 2023
150 years ago The Bunyip featured a story about a prospective footbridge, 100 years Gawler council was concerned about “disreputable hoarding”, 50 years ago Gawler Mayor was warning residents about land agents, 25 years ago local thugs picked on the wrong target and 10 years ago the neglect of a local landmark was leading to frustration and complaints.
There was no Gawler Now and Then image this week.
