Looking Back with the Bunyip: Wednesday 21st June
Looking back at Gawler’s history through the columns of the Bunyip Newspaper with Janette and special guest Gary, Gawler Culture and Heritage Centre Volunteer, from Wednesday 21st June 2023
150 years ago the Bunyip featured a story about an erratic Railway Train, 100 years ago extreme weather conditions led to a carrier’s wagon being bogged in Murray Street, 50 years ago a local theatre complex is sold, 25 years ago a local is caught with his pants down, and 10 years ago historic Freeling buildings are for sale.
There was no Gawler Now and Then image this week.
