150 years ago the Paper featured a story about snakes in a cemetery, 100 years ago Gawler’s drought was damaging crops, 50 years ago Gawler council had its first woman nominee, 25 years ago a new report on the gum tree was received, and ten years ago local pubs were responding to the problem of late night violence.
