150 years ago the Bunyip reported on concerns about storing explosives in the township, 100 years ago an unfortunate incident led to a murder charge, 50 years ago land sales in Gawler fetched record sums, 25 years ago anticipation for the annual show is high and 10 years ago a popular local “car yard” is closed.
