Looking back at Gawler’s history through the columns of the Bunyip Newspaper with Janette and Kay Boon from Wednesday 4th May 2022.

150 years ago, the weather was making news once again, 100 years ago bowler from Glenelg visited Gawler, 50 years ago a historic Locomotive visited, 25 years ago Gawler was honoured with a visit by a descendent of Governor Gawler, and 10 years ago two local One Direction fans made news.

The Gawler Now and Then image is of the opening of the Willaston Oval, 1977.
