Humbug
Welcome to our monthly writing podcast with Carolyn, Marilyn and Janette. As this month’s podcast will go out before Christmas the theme this month was seasonal. We discussed Christmas related stories, such as The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and a miniature version of A Christmas Carol. Marilyn and Janette read samples of their own Christmassy writing. Marilyn’s piece was thought provoking, Janette’s, letter from Santa, took a more humorous approach.
The not so forgotten, “forgotten” word for the month was, naturally, “humbug”, which has several different meanings, one of which is rather unusual.
The Gawler Icons Listener’s challenge for this month was Christmas in Gawler, it being topical.
