Puggery

Part of the Series “Chapter and Verse
Produced by on December 11, 2017

Welcome to our monthly writing podcast with Carolyn, Marilyn and Janette. We discussed what we have been reading, books and other things.

The “forgotten” word for the month was “puggery”. Janette explained how she came across the word and read a sample of the account of a mid nineteenth century court case in which it is used. So if you want to know what the word means and how it should be used, listen to the podcast.

Carolyn read a poem written for facebook, Marilyn read a short, humorous piece written for ‘homework” on the topic “What if we could walk on ceilings”.

The Gawler Icons Listener’s challenge for this month was Spring in Gawler, it being topical.

Please use the GBA email for submissions, ([email protected]) and put APCaV Gawler Icons in the title.
