Produced by on December 17, 2018

Adelaide Plains Chapter and Verse monthly podcast recorded Thursday 29th November at the Studio, Community House, Gawler.

Welcome to our monthly writing podcast with Carolyn, Marilyn and Janette.  In news Carolyn talks about the writing workshop at the P/A Hotel and Janette lists some of the significant literary anniversaries for the month and talks a little about the writers, Stan Lee and William Goldman, (mistakenly referred to as William Golding in the podcast) who passed away in November.

The topic of discussion for the month is books as gifts, a pertinent topic with Christmas looming.

The forgotten word is “gasconade” another delightful word overdue for resuscitation.  If you want to know what it means then listen to our podcast.

Marilyn reads an amusing short piece on the topic “walking on ceilings” which was one of the “Chapter and Verse”, writing exercises.

This month’s listeners’ challenge is simply Christmas Decorations, in honour of the approaching festive season.

Please use the GBA email for submissions, ([email protected]) and put APCaV Gawler Icons in the title.
