Welcome to the second “episode” of Classic Cult TV Club, (CCtvC). This month Justin, Janette, Lisa, Alex and Gerry discuss an episode from the very first series of the immortal Star Trek; which originally aired on 6th April, 1967, before many of our “Clubbers” were born.
The City on the Edge of Tomorrow was selected because it was scripted by Harlan Ellison who died in June this year, (on the day we recorded the very first episode of Cult TV Club in fact).
So does the episode hold up for a modern audience? What do those who are familiar with more recent Star Trek series think and what happened to the red shirts?
