Welcome to the Classic Cult TV Club, (CCtvC), with Lisa, Alex, Angus, Gypsy, Janette and Justin talking online during the Covid 19 Lockdown.
Though not able to meet in person to watch and discuss their favourite or less favourite cult classics but the “Culter”s are not deterred by adversity. The recording quality might not be up to the usual standard though.
Babylon Five is a sci fi series which ran from 2003-2009 created by J.Michael.Straczynski, (JMS to fans) and starring Bruce Boxleitner as Captain Sheridan, Claudia Christian as Susan Ivanova, Jerry Doyle as Michael Garibaldi, Richard Biggs as Dr Stephen Franklin, Mira Firlan as Delenn, Andreas Katsulas as G’Kar and Peter Jurasik as Londo Mollari and guest star Turhan Bey as the Centauri Emporer. Episode first aired in the U.S. on 01-02-1995, written by J.Michael Straczynski and directed by Janet Greek. This episode was winner of the 1996 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation.
So Babylon Five. What are Lisa’s many questions, why do some “culters” love this series and others fail to warm to it? Is it special or not? And does it make for good lockdown viewing??
