The culters watched an episode of the original Star Trek back in the early days of the podcast and while not exactly a fail it was felt that the series deserved a redemption podcast because Angus and Baylor were not there for that recording and they want to talk Star Trek and ensure that it gets the appreciation that it deserves.
Star Trek was created by the now legendary Gene Roddenberry. This episode is written by Paul. S. Schneider and Directed by Vincent McEverley. It first aired in the U.S. on 15th December 1966, 58 years ago. The episode stars William Shatner as Captain T. Kirk, Leonard Nimoy as First Officer Spock, DeForest Kelley as Chief Medical Officer “Bones” McCoy, Nichelle Nichols as Communications Officer Nyota Uhura, Scott James Deehan as Chief Engineer Scott and George Takei as Lt Sulu.
