A quick chat with Steve Frinsdorf

Part of the Series “Community Interviews
Produced by on March 30, 2017

If you live in Gawler, you’ve probably benefited from all the work Steve Frinsdorf does, even if you don’t know it.

Steve is a prolific volunteerer, giving over 50 hours a week of his time to all sorts of community organisations and causes around town, from leading the Gawler Agricultural, Horticultural and Floricultural Society’s efforts to stage the Gawler Show each year, to working with Community Houses in Gawler and all around the country, serving on the Gawler Health Foundation Board, to even helping out with the important work of the SES!

Just after Steve had received his second SA Regional Award in a rowMarilyn was lucky enough to be able to catch his sitting still, and was able to talk to him about what he does and why Steve thinks volunteering is such an important part of making a community.
