Looking Back with the Bunyip: Wednesday 13th April
Looking back at Gawler’s history through the columns of the Bunyip Newspaper with Janette and Kay Boon from Wednesday 13th April 2022
150 years ago, The Bunyip reported on the Barossa Goldfields, 100 years ago a local church was dedicated, 50 years ago Lyndoch Meals on Wheels was threatened with cancellation, 25 years ago the extension of Gawler’s Dry Zones was up for discussion, and 10 years ago a heritage demolition was cause of concern.
The Gawler Now and Then image is of the Prince of Wales visit to Gawler in 1920.
