DAAS Kapital was the creation of Australian comedy legends, The Doug Anthony All Stars, Paul McDermott, Tim Ferguson and Richard Fidler, who rose to fame through the Adelaide Fringe, 1986. After performing skits for the ABC comedy series, The Big Gig, they scripted and produced two series of DAAS Kapital from 1991 – 1992.
So how well has the series aged? Is it funny, shocking or just simply offensive? It is all three? And why do members of the cultists remember this series with such affection. To find out listen to the podcast.
