The Culters go back to the early days of Cyberpunk with an encounter with the 80s cult TV figure Max Headroom, but who is what is Max Headroom. A car park sign, a TV personality advertising coke or a Music show host or the main character in a dark, Cyberpunk TV series?
The episode was first broadcast on the 4th of April 1985 in the U.K. It was directed by Rocky Martin and Annabel Jankel, written by Steve Robert and staring Matt Frewer as Edison Carter/Max Headroom, Nickolas Grace as Grossman, Amanda Pays as Theora Jones, W.Morgan Shepherd as Blank Reg, Hilary Tindall as Dominique and Paul Spurrier as Bryce Lynch.
