150 years ago the arrival of a “hairless horse” in Gawler was cause for excitement, 100 years ago there was speculation about the Prince’s potential bride, 50 years ago changes were planned for a dangerous junction, 25 years ago new housing developments were changing the shape of Gawler, and 10 years ago the need for a new damn was being discussed.
