150 years ago Gawler was mourning the loss of local celebrity, John McKinley, 100 years ago locals were concerned about the citrus crop, 50 years ago the Bunyip heralded Dr Bruce EAstick as “The Man of the Year”, 25 years ago Gawler was hosting a Punk/Grunge concert, and 10 years ago Gawler’s New Year’s baby made news.
