150 years ago a Sunday School picnic was a great occasion, 100 years ago the flooding of the local brickworks exacerbated the housing shortage, 50 years ago there were calls to amend a dangerous intersection at Freeling, 25 years ago local pharmacists were raising concern about the threat of supermarkets, and 10 years ago cracks in the new egg code were raising concerns.
