150 years ago snakes are making news once again, 100 years ago there was excitement about race dividends, 50 years ago air conditioners were selling out, 25 years ago the iconic Gawler Christmas tree suffered another critical set back, and 10 years ago a Gawler Citizen was awarded the South Australian Citizen of the Year.
